Katie has a passion for education and advocates for excellence for every student.
Most recently an educator in DC, Katie now serves as a Program Associate, managing programs that support DCPS’s initiatives and provide greater educational opportunities for students in DC. Katie’s most recent role in the classroom was as a seventh-grade English teacher at DC International School, where she was also Middle School English Subject Coordinator. Katie received her MA in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and her BA in English from Yale University.
